Lunchbox Theatre Spring Break Camp is an extension of the wildly successful theatre program available in elementary schools during the school year. Designed to introduce basic performing arts skills to children aged 6 to 12, the camp includes:

Act Up!-  Kids will learn the groundwork of acting skills as well as confidence, awareness and comprehension skills through a mix of theatre games, improv and scene work.

Musical Theatre - Through games, crafts and by working together, the group create a mini-musical production.  Kids will learn movement, voice, dance and how to make big acting choices on stage while also developing a show which will be performed on the last day for friends and family.  Suitable for all skill levels.

This one week theatre camp is the final word in FUN!

Tiny Troupers

For ages 4-6

Tiny Troupers come to exercise their imagination using games, stories, song, puppets, and costumes to make up their own plays.

When: Saturdays - 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.        

Where: Dogwood Pavilion, 624 Poirier Street, Coquitlam

Winter Session: January 24 - February 28, 2015

Playtime Theatre

Ages 7-9 years

Kids are never too old for dressup.  This fun-filled class is all about storytelling with costumes and props.  Theatre games take kids on an imagination ride to making a play out of playing!

When: Thursdays  4:30 - 5:30 pm

Where: Dogwood Pavilion, 724 Poirier Street, Coquitlam

Winter Session: April 16 - May 21, 2015

6 classes over 6 weeks - $65 per child

 

 

Acting Mania

For ages 8-13

An exciting introductory class for children. They will warm-up with Improvisation games for 30 minutes and then progress to scene work. These scenes will be presented to parents in the last class.  6 classes.

When: Saturdays   10:30 - 11:30 am                                                   

Where: Dogwood Pavilion, 624 Poirier Street, Coquitlam

Winter Session:  January 24 - February 28, 2015

(This program is 6 weeks; no HST is charged)
